Louis Lubega is a certified Ugandan-based daydreamer, storyteller, 2d animator, and comic bookmaker. His daydreaming sessions have produced work that reflects the fight against unfavorable odds and the problems of life. His stories often feature traditional African themes.
His notable series include Olwatuuka; a fantasy webcomic set in the underworld that follows the incredible journey of a boy named Kakama, and Kibuuka; a comic series about a young man who is lost in time and looks for the god of time to guide him back home.
He is currently developing Jemo “the rising star”, a 2d animated series.
Louis is a big fan of Japanese anime with series like Naruto greatly influencing his choice to pursue a career in animation.
